In this episode, Claire and Scott chat to author and journalist Omar El Akkad about his vital and urgent book of non-fiction One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This. (Published by Canongate and Penguin Random House.)
Thanks for an incredibly gripping and interesting discussion of Omar's book. Although not strictly poetry, Omar has the soul of a poet, grappling with the big ideas and crafting incredible. finely wrought words. Such a timely discussion too given where we find ourselves right now, in a geopolitical maelstrom.
Also I think he has illuminated some concepts that anyone who has ever found themselves living in another country, or having left their birth country, will be familiar with.

Excellent work!
