Inspired by the strength and power of her words, The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press will be creating a free digital poetry zine entitled "Still We Rise" - a collection of poems reacting to the current state of the world.
Capitalism, greedy politicians and lunatic, power hungry leaders are destroying our precious planet to fill their pockets and fuel their egos. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ¡Viva la revolución!💪✊ People all over the world are fighting for peace and basic human rights.
Submissions are open now. It's free to enter (do buy us a coffee if you can in support of a wee indie press) and you can send up to three of your revolutionary poems via email to theweesparrowpoetrypress@gmail.com

Deadline is 30th November
The Wee Sparrow's co-editors, @marc.brimble & @jtessitorewriter will be judging.
They will choose a long and short list of poets who will be featured in the zine plus two winners who will win a Wee Sparrow Poetry Press t-shirt and bookmark bundle from @print_a_poet and a surprise gift! (Oooooooh I hear you all say!)😊
